Well that's accurate with last season, right? With the 10th pick in the draft, you could say that there were 9 teams behind us.
Ohh $h**!!! What's up Merton Hanks.

I think 22 is about right.

I agree with the current ranking, but expect them to creep up to top 15 soon after the season begins!

Give it up for Mike Singletary, who definitely infused the 49ers with more togetherness and fight than the franchise has seen in quite some time. With word that a five-year extension is on the way, the challenge is now to be able to channel his intensity every week, every season.
lol, look who's #22 now
5 year extension? Is there any truth to that? It dose seem a tad early to sign him, but im just some tool at my computer.
We are still #22.
Dunno where that other #18 quote came from, but it sounds like that was from last year before Singletary was signed on as the full time HC.
Yeah i don't know what happened, i clicked on it last night and it said we were ranked that but i guess i was wrong....or really high, my bad

The Bills, Packers, Cardinals all above the Saints?
I don't like this list, but power rankings are always silly to me anyway.

There are many flaws with these rankings, obviously. The Cardinals are WAY too high, but I understand they would have to rate the SuperBowl loser high by default. The Broncos are too high, as they should probably be in the 29-32 range. The raiders are about right. The Dolphins should probably be higher, at least higher than some of the teams ahead of them (Texans and Bills to be specific). The Niners are about right, but I can see us being higher by a spot or 2.
