Love how Ray Lewis, Derek Mason and Ed Reed were proud to walk down the tunnel, with Ray Lewis saying "legends walk through here", Derek Mason "Montana, Young, oh my god". Ray Lewis was happy to be playing at Candlestick, saying, it was his dream to play here.
On a side note, I love Manusky, I think hes gonna be a HC in this league one day.
too bad we can't get our players to appreciate the same thing.
Get ready for this same offense fellas. There is a thin line between being smash mouth and 3 and out.

maybe it was me,
but nolan kept telling the d-coordinators what they needed to call
f**king nolan
Just not you, I notice the same BS, I wishing he would shut the F%ck up. Also he didn't at all seem to get the players attention
The defensive played well that day, so why did Nolan need to shut the F%ck up?
It was the baltimore ravens...
and that was one game where the defense played well. Usually nolan did all the D stuff...remember "Big Nickel"

Didnt like how Norris is supposed to be this awesome blocker-but constantly was discarded by Lewis, Scott, and Suggs.
C'mon man look who you just noted down, Lewis Scott and Suggs, those guys aren't exactly what you would call scrubbs.
Trent Dilfer was the QB. The Ravens defence played to stop the run the entire game. When you have an Ed Reed you could play almost everyone in the box and just have Reed in coverage.

I honestly think if Alex played that game, or if Dilfer had a little more experience before hand, we would have won it.
And i'm in no way a fan of Alex Smith

I agree. I remember Chris McCallister not playing that game, and I think Samari rolle wasn't either. Part of the problem was our ultra conservative gameplan on offense....

yeah i think we only threw the ball for over 20yds twice, and one was a HUGE gain to Gilmore, than a strike on a nice throw from Dilfer to Battle for a TD. Everything else was run, run, pass to the flat.

Healthy Smitty would have won that game... though you never knew with Hostler what you were going to get.

McAlister was playing, matter of fact I think Battle beat McAlister for that deep middle TD.

Favorite quote from that was Manusky while playing for i believe the skins, "we came here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and now i'm out of bubble gum"
he jacked that line from duke nukem.
Whose creators jacked from Rowdy Roddy Piper in They Live but that saying may be older than that I dunno.
Who was that crying at the end of the game?
