PYMWYMI is only in it's fifth season !

OK here's some history :
A few years ago in a galaxy far far away, people were saying 'i told you they would have this record bla bla bla'. Someone (Joecool) had enough of this and put a thread on for people to clearly declare their prediction about the niners record of the season to come and said the now famous phrase : "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is".
As it's a little bit too long, the nickname was easy to find "PYMWYMI"
Maybe you wonder why there is a number after it ? the '5' explains that the thread is in it's fifth season

9-7. I was overly optimistic last year but . . . The Singletary factor should add two wins to what would be an 8-8 record based on comparisons of last year's won-loss record vs. this year's opponents. Throw in one loss the Niners should have won as margin of error.

Defense starts season hot. Since the opponent is Cards, Niners will go 5-1 in Division. Singletary factor will prevent any back-to-back losses. The biggest problem will be Colts and Titans in the 7th and 8th games. But since the Titan game is at home, Niners pull second upset.

Losses against Vikes, Falcons, Colts, Packers, Seahawks (there), Eagles.

I'll go for 8-8

9-7 and the Wild Card/Potential Division winner
