They say he can make big plays, but he was also burnt a lot, and none of them were sorry to see him go. Like I said, take that with a grain of salt. Afterall, they could be wrong because they're Bronco fans for cripes sake.

Grain of salt considered lol
I seen a few games of denvers last yr. And their pass rush was so horrible last yr they looked to be equally if not worse then any horrible pass rush we have ever had! With that in mind they made champ bailey look like chump bailey! Meaning their d as a whole just sucked! Bly gave up some plays yeah I agree, but c mon man not even deion sanders coulda covered every play for as long as he did last yr. They where quuite aweful.

I'd love to see brown whoop that ass and get the start. He was our drafted player. But wit dre bly and clements, we
Get dr dre bly and nate dawg clements. That seems pretty gangsta lol

I only watched two Denver games last year and never paid much attention to Dre Bly, but what the bronco's fans are saying doesn't surprise me. Not that I think he sucks or can't cover anymore, but he has always been known as a gambler. Sometimes those gambles payoff with an INT, other times he bites on the under route and gets burnt deep. I remember that stuff from his days as a Ram. Hopefully he gets plenty of deep safety help from Goldson this year.

As a side note - Nolan never would have brought Bly here because he isn't a "safe" player, and the timing of Bly's departure from Denver should come as no great shock to anyone.

That being said, I was actually pulling for Brown to win the job before his apparent injury.

Yeah nolan got rid of em first chance he got, he likes them mark roman guys lol. Yeah I have been pullin for brown since we had drafted em. But if bly wins the job which he just may I wouldn't mind em startin as well. I really wish we didn't lose walt for the season tho. But bly is a tad younger then walt tho so who knows. Somethings happen for a reason. I just hate when our players, or any players get injured. Sucks for carolina but works in our favor. The lost their dt and we get their 1st this up coming yr. Other then that injuries suckass

Go brown salvage that toe of yours lol

This team needs some guys who force the action on defense rather than sitting, watching the offense and letting it dictate to us. A Gambler CB is fine as long as he communicates with his Safety be letting him know he's going to jump any route so the Safety can shift over in time in case it's a pump fake.

I agree 100%, let's show a little more flash/attitude this year. I'm also for Goldson over Roman for the same reasons.

I just meant Bly is a polarizing guy. Some ppl will love him, others will hate him. Its not uncommon to see a guy like that get a strong reaction from fans.

It doesn't work like that Joe He can't tell the safety he's jumping a route that hasn't even happened yet. What if the pass goes to the other side of the field and one of your safeties just took himself out of the play. I'm sure there are certain plays they probably see on tape that they know they will try to jump. Plus you never know what defense has been called and what the safeties responsibilities are on a certain play.

You are right so of course, Bly would take the defense called into consideration. This how great teams become great with communication and "executive decisions" on the field. As long as the communication is there and he's not trying to do something all on his own, he will be in a better situation.

If our pass rush is there we should have no problems with bly. I don't believe sing will stand for bly trying to take a chance every play. That could in the long run kill us. But if our d is getting pressure, and he recognises something he seen on tapes this will be beneficial assuming he gets there on time! Can ya scream int lol
