When will Michael Crabtree be signed?

I think it's a sign of how outrageous Crabtree's demands are. The national media have no choice to back the niners because the situation is so ludicrous.

Can't blame you but that sux that you bought his Jersey. I got Alex Smith's authentic Jersey on sale for 40 bucks becasue they thought the 49ers were going to release him and now he has an OPPORTUNITY (not claiming he is) to win the starting job. I Lucked out if he does win it.

just give him same money as DHB already, yeah i do agree he is better than DHB, but damn he already missed a whole week, this is going to hurt him big time.

While i dont agree with you about paying him the same, I do agree it's going to hurt big time, But he only has Himself to blame. I guess that's the type of Logic they teach at Texas Tech.

Is Crabtree T.O. 2 ? Drama already and he has not signed.I guess their was a good reason the first 9 teams did not take him.

Agreed, the guy is following some bad advice. He is coming off of surgery and didn't run at the combine, that makes him somewhat of a risky pick. Combine that with the high failure rate of receivers drafted high the last few years, and you would think his agent is insane for asking for more than what his draft slotting should provide in terms of a contract. I doubt he sits out a year, that would really be a bonehead move. He would not be able to attend the combine or talk to any teams, as the 49ers own his rights until he is drafted again. Coming off of surgery,
out of football for over a year, and not being able to work out for anyone, I think his value would be a lot less than it is now.

That would be embarrassing if Crabtree is still holding out when we play in the preseason @ his home town in Dallas
