im sure some of you have read this but it explains things well.

im kind of surprised that I hear people on sports talk taking the niners side. I expected to hear howw cheap York is blah blah blah

Most people not just Niner fans are on our side.

this Jags fan ripped him a new one on his facebook page

It is being retired for now. My opinion of him is not very high at this point.

Same here. I'm done with this clown, until he makes a difference for out team because that's all that matters. No more posts from me about Crabtree until he signs.
Crabcrybaby personally killed my Longhorns chances of winning the national title last yr. Now he pulls this schidt? We traded away our #2 pick, and if this clown can't get his greedy act together, shop him around to some teams with high draft picks next yr and let him be their problem. This team has taken an incredible amt of body blows in last 6 yrs. Frankly we can't have a rotten apple spoiling the barrel...again. Sign and get on with his career, or find somebody who wants a very capable WR, who doesn't mind dealing with a team morale destroyer. Since he dropped from "best pick in draft" to #10....plus he needed foot surgery... 9 teams above us knew something we evidentally didn't, and hence he slid down to #10.

Frankly,we have enough troubles for two teams right now...this crabcrybaby thing is something we cannot afford, certainly don't need, and definitely don't want. I say shop his azz, go with what we got, and see if we can get better value for an OLB passrusher and DE stud...ok, a NT wouldn't hurt my feelings either...all of which we needed way worse than a WR at time of draft. As far as i'm concerned, the longer this kid is THE NEWS rather than the other 48 players, each day is a loser for us. We need to stop it now. What, you want to let him dink around with us, come in late, and be behind all yr, AND he's a ROOK? No way, brother, and if he isn't signed by end of this weekend, i say adios, and don't let the door hit him in the rump on the way out.

We could do the team some real good with a passrushing OLB, a mean, nasty DE, or a starting NT. Let crabs be the glory guy somewhere else. Just don't put up with anymore of his bs here when he is still a physical liability, he may be an early head case, and nobody knows how he will do in the pros. Unfortunately this kid isn't even smart enough to get good advice. I say get rid of him and let's move on. Like they say, "if something seems too good to be true...it probably is". Adios crabbytree.
Its not like he's really threatning the team for sitting out the seaon. The dude would only hurt himself. First of all, the dude doesnt have enough college experience. Second, sitting out a year will not make him better at all. If he wants to do it let him do it. I DO NOT CARE! WE DO NOT NEED ANOTHER T.O. I rather have Josh Morgan start than a rookie that's been crying about his foot and wants crazy money. Bye bye T.O. Jr.

The funny thing is that the 49ERS and Crabtree's side will probably meet somewhere in the middle with regards to the money. That probably would have happened anyway even if his cousin hadn't made the stupid threat. I doubt that the 49ERS hold fast to #10 type money.

Personally I will welcome him just like Singletary will do when he finally gets into camp. I bet most of you will lay the anger aside if or when he becomes a productive WR for the team.

The management is not going to cave in to a diva WR. You can thank TO for that.
I'm to the point now where I really don't care anymore. Just give the guy a good incentive loaded contract and get him into camp. But if this Diva sucks I will be the first to bash the sh*t outta him for causing all this ruckus.

i already got the rashaun woods nickname reserved for him. he better succeed.
Well, PFT reports Tyson Jackson just signed. So Crab's agent should turn all his attention to his deal.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/08/07/tyson-jackson-to-get-31-million-guaranteed/

Hopefully he signs soon, and it's a good deal for all parties involved.
Whatever
The longer he waits to sign the better it is for the Niners financially. Flip side to that is that rookie players who miss camp are generally useless there first year in the NFL and tend to have a difficult second season. What is even worse is how many of them are out of shape and sustain a serious injury when they finally show up.

Crabtree will eventually sign the Sabre rattling being done by his cousin shows the growing concern that there camp is having about how Crabtree is being perceived (remember signed two endorsement deals one with Nike) they have realized the Niners will not cave in, his endorsement deals will be null and void if he is not playing. During tense negotiations any sales veteran will tell you he who speaks first loses. I bet Parker tore Crabtree’s cousin a new one after making that comment.

dude, chill. Theres NO way that he will sit out the season. NO WAY. He knows that it would do him no good, and so does his agent.
yep, as suspected he just resurrected his DIVA nickname, with some help from his cousin and agent.

I can understand the holdout, but to announce it in the publicly is simply immature and classless.
