I don't know who wouldn't want to play for him. I know the only thing he lacks right now is experience at head coach, but aside from that (everyone starts getting experience at some point in their career)....I can't imagine our team not becoming winners this year under his leadership. I believe he will have our team players running through people and obliterating them. Its going to be embarassing for any team that assumes we are the same brandon-lloyd-alligator-arms type of team.
I'm more excited about this season than I have been in a long time.
I'm really starting to believe in not only Shaun Hill, but Alex Smith.

If teams are a direct reflection of their HC, we should be in for a good year.

I agree have pride for this team and where singletery is leading them... deffinently in the rite direction for sure. Alex has been impressive in practice... but it remains to be seen if he can do it in a real game time situation

in my opinion, its hill who represents what Singeltary is trying to establish in San francisco. A tough, scrappy, team that does whatever it takes to win.

Please elaborate on why "he has so much integrity." This should be interesting.

Yeah, Sing seems to have so much respect for Hill . I mean, Martz and Hill got Sing this job, right? So what does Sing do? He fires Martz and refuses to name Hill the starter. Have to love that. I'm sure Hill really appreciates this leadership.

Hmmm. Sing has descended from the Heavens above in order to make us better human beings. You know, I watch this guy closely, very closely. I'm just not buying it. I'll tell you exactly what he is two posts from now.

if it weren't for samurai mike, hill would've still been backing up JTO.
Sing gave him that opportunity to play, and Hill came through. Giving Hill some competition this summer will not injure Hill's confidence. Hill has risen above a lot of adversity to get to this point, and this is just one final test in becoming a true NFL starting qb.
Its only bratty childish fans that think the world is ending because Singletary is testing his men.

Singletary is going to be a great coach, because he understands the business side of the game and is completely focused on the team that we have on the field. He knows why Crabtree is holding out and isn't even worried. I have complete faith in Singletary. HE will have the team prepared no matter who is on the field!
