I'm probably gonna dislike the guy now. I don't like the guys much on ESPN. I always think of Adam Schefter as a NFLN guy.

That's too many insiders. Mort, Schefter, Clayton and Smith? There's not enough air time for all four of them.

qb Looks good in camp wait until the live fire starts then we find the Men and who are the boys ! every year we start someone then Hill finish the season at the end and win two games or three then we get our hopes up for the next season ! and the beat goes on ! it's been 3-4 years same s**t !

smith says he is happy to have a chance to quarterback the 49ers in 09. He says he did not expect to be in this position 5 years after he was drafted. Says he is good friends with hill.

Excited about potentially being a starter and being accountable.

Doesn't think Singletary will just run, will be balanced and must be to be successful.

Injury or circumstances reason for his current situation?

Doesn't matter, he can only go out and try and compete against Denver.
