We need to put in Smith....anyone at QB....i mean Hill just cant get it done....

and for all you guys that say Smith would do Worse....it isn't possible to do worse then Zero Points....there is NO Possible way to get Negative points...i don't think...if there is our team will find a way to do that 2day....

PUT SMITH IN NOW!!!!!
Niners continue to play offense, defense, and special teams like this and they will be picking top 10 again.

They look outclassed by a 3-3 Texans team.
We should Hire Brian Billick. Isn't he an offensive guru

Nah, you want to bench the guy for having just one and a half bad games?

We have played 5 1/2 bad games. We were riding a Singeltary high the first few weeks while everyone else was getting into season shape. Our Offense has sucked in every game.

Sarcasm Recognition Fail.

lol

here's to seeing Alex on a rollout to start the second half.

Who - Alex 'interception' Smith?

Hill throws and obvious INT, it's dropped. Smith throws the same, picked. Don't know why. Seems to be that way.

This game isn't about Hill or Raye so much as it is about our LOUSY, sub-par defense.

Even the announcers were starting to notice that just at the end of the half. Even the announcers were starting to realize something's wrong, here, with the 49ers D.

So don't give my Jimmy Raye.

If you want to complain - the name Manusky should be mentioned!!

stop repeating yourself.

Remember when Coach Sing brought in Kurt Warner, that right there tells us he does not have faith in Shaun Hillbilly. Time to bring in Nate and let him develop some chemistry with Crabtree. What do you guys think? ARE YOU WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah! That's a GREAT idea. Quick some one call captian kirk and have him beem Nate Davis to houston so coach can put him in the game.

Because Hill throws punts.
Rotate....3rd Smith....4 th Davis...just like preseason...yup...yup...make me the coach........
f**k RAY!
I've stayed out of the hill vs smith debate but if the critics are gonna hold smith accountable then the same should be leveled to hill

Can't wait till we get a real QB back there
.

Me too it's been way to long Esp when your so used to watch Montana and Young behind center for so long. This Offense the last several years is so frustrating to watch

QB is NOT the problem! Boring predictable play calling and a swiss cheese o-line will do us in whomever we put in at QB.

Wrong. it Is hill. hill NEver throws to the deep reciever. Hill has no pocket presence and cannot evade the rush...ever. Hill makes the playcalling look bad. We've called a lot of passing plays this game. The playclaiing is fine. I actually think we should have ran more.

How short are memories are. Remember when watching Hill play was refreshing compared to Smith and his utter lack of pocket presence and mechanical non-instinctual play? I'm not a Hill fan, but Smith was far worse. Play Davis if anythng.

Those memories aren't exactly fresh...

I hear ya, I've tried to erase those memories from my brain completely but they still linger...

alex wont come in after halftime, but if hill throws a pick or if theyend up 42 to 0 we will see him this time.

That better not be the case, if that happens i want Sing out.

If the 49ers lost 60-0, that's got nothing to do with Shaun Hill.

If the 49ers give up that many points, it'll be because the - D E F E N S E !!!!! - gave up that many points.

People here just don't want to see what's happening. Watch the game! I can't give people better advice. Watch the game, the actual game!

Even the announcers were starting to notice the panic on D just at the end, there, saying - can they figure out their failure to this point. And the announcers will be the last to get this stuff, because they are concentrating play by play.

And yet posters here, still don't get it. This game isn't about Jimmy Raye. It's about our O-line, and a LOUSY Defense.

No friken DUH dude. Of course the D is giving up points. The offense is on the field, 3 and out, defense back on.........The best defense is a good offense. The Texans feel emboldened to take risks because they know our offense can't do jack. The Texans are putting the peddle to the metal on offense and could probably care less what our defense does at this point...

On the other hand our D is the SOLE hope for any comeback and they know it so are playing tight and thinking too much trying to make something happen....

IMO - Singletary's biggest mistake was firing Mike Martz.

i agree but probably bigger mistake was not getting a better oc

martz >>>>>>>>> raye

martz would have had a field day with crabtree in the line up ,.....what joke of an O

Agree The O calls are so predictable and the execution of the plays called are terrible.
If Hill starts the 2nd half I think I'll put my head in ceiling fan for some real excitment

Pardon me if this was said already, but we have three healthy WR's as inactives this week, and yet Rossum can't keep his spot? Makes ZERO sense.
somebosy really needs to explain that roster move I hope a reporter comes @ somebody for that nove

Let me explain it. Rossum looked lost back there. He fumbled, he let the ball go to the one, he would run backward to toward the run, and otherwise he looked lost, except for one play that was called back.

Battle isn't a guy who should be back there, either.

I like Walker. If he fumbles, it's rare. They still need someone who could play like Rossum used to play.

AND preseason! Only Nate Davis made it look ok. He kept bringing us back against 3rd stringers.
