overall i thought the 1st team defense looked decent, even though orton gave a helping hand
but pass rush needs work

No Willis or Haralson,so no way to tell how the D will look at full strength.Secondary played too far off in some spots but looked good overall.

Yeah, it was great to see him come him and right away get two tackles.
I know this might not sound like a compliment, but he reminds me of a young Derek Smith. That guy didn't stay good, but early on, he made quick tackles on almost every run up the middle.

Secondary played well but how long can anyone cover without a pass rush.... Orton and Simms had all day.... Look at Simms last TD....

I think it also has to do with scheme. We weren't really showing the Broncos any stunts or blitz packages, we were pretty much playing them straight up.
I agree, but you'd think SOMEBODY in the front 7 could get some pressure playing "straight up".
What I saw tonight from the front 7 was HORRIBLE. I know it was just the first preseason game, but it's painfully obvious that we have ZERO pass rush.

yea reggie looked awesome. goldson needs to actually play well on the field and not just in practice, i thought he mightve had a pd but i dont remember for sure.
nate and bly both looked good. i hope they cause turnovers in the regular season like they did tonight.
