You mean he shouldn't have tried to stop the return? He's a football player.

Of course, Moody did his job, the other 10 players did not.

Are you aware of any kicking methods we could have used to keep them from being unable to return the kick?

I am.

yes, it's his fault. He kicked a returnable kick as part of a squad that is unable to cover kick returns consistently.

My favorite thing about our special teams is their inability to adjust strategies.

keep thinking your gonna pin them deep. Our defense will surely adjust to the great field position we give them

Such a sick strategy… let's just keep doing this stupid ass b******t
flipping the field on that punt recovery would have been real nice
Tell you what, this unit is special.

Did Schneider hire Matthew Wright (props with the 3 fgs and the td saving tackle btw) knowing he couldn't kick touchbacks?

I think it may work to play a low hard kick into the 5-10yard line at let the returner manage the bounce and the return. No point in putting it into the air unless it's in the back of the end zone.
Ignorance is bliss. It' all going very well.
Not Jake Moody was clutch tonight. Well except for that out of bounds kickoff, he was good when needed.
Nice that they didn't screw anything up. In fact, despite the kickoff out of bounds, I think they won today.

The Cowboys kicked a ball that landed at the 23 so it gave us the ball at the 40 automatically. Later they threw that forward pitch from Turpin that pinned them deep. Our punt and kick return coverage wasn't terrible (prob about average to bit below). But overall I think those 2 Cowboy mistakes helped us win the ST battle.
It's a miracle! Unpseacial teams didn't blow it this time.

Carlson was a concern for me but he came through.
