I think he wanted a call for holding, but f**k him
With injuries again mounting how many ST players will be plundered? I guess we will find out if it is a factor when opposing returners start to not fair catch or take a knee.

He'll be alright and it won't matter if the offense continues to perform, but it does get annoying seeing Gould miss FGs.
Define, special. LOL

You might be on to something. Does Kyle think he is so good at Offense that Special Teams are practically an after thought? It doesn't make sense though when they keep Gould around and take a punter fairly high in a draft. Or is there some discord in this area between Kyle and John?
What is it that almost every part of this unit is a problem

Kick Offs - Wish/Gould are inconsistent and TBs are too often not achieved. Coverage has also been an issue recently.
Kick Off Return - Mistakes, muffs, and no specialist
Punts - Wish seems out of form. A rare shank and too many under 40yds and trending the wrong way on both Avg and Nett Avg. Coverage also showing inconsistency.
Punt Return - Mistakes in every part of this position including muffs, poor decision making and no real return threat. No specialist player available
Field Goal - Gould missing too many and seemingly only available as an option when within 40 yards
PATS - About average for the league
Trick plays - Unprepared to handle them and Never, ever, ever, ever in a gazillion years do them.
Coaching - KS either does not deal with any of it and hired is cheerleader style college buddy to get them in shape......which they are not.

Overall - this facet of the game has done enough to either cause the team to lose or not done enough help them win for more than half of this season.

PS on a positive note the Long Snapper position has settled down,

All past sins forgiven!!!
They were EXTRA FU*KING SPECIAL yesterday. Props all around!
Would love some special teams news. Mayo. Ya got anything?
Juice said we'll definitely be much more AGGRESSIVE on special teams under Brian Schneider. And Brian got his top 2 returners on his wishlist.

Maybe Mitch will finally be a Special Teams Weapon.
