LOL@ Morgan saying it came down like a punt. He sould've caught it but that was definitely a Shaun Hill ball.

The one he caught for a TD was even worse.

But "wounded ducks don't show up on the stat sheet, touchdowns do."

Morgan had to wait and wait for those balls. Both those throw's gave the db's time to recover. I love Hill but he's not the long term answer. I remember Rice talking about the transition from going from a righty (Montana) to a lefty (Young) and how it took time to get used to. Ducks are harder to catch but the rule is, if you can touch it, you can catch it.

schedule

sure do wish i had the NFLN, comcast is still treating it as a premium channel

It's only like $4.99 a month if you add it on. You also get the NBA channel and a whole bunch of others if you like to watch football.

Yes I know, but them pr**ks are raiding my wallet plenty enough already.

How do you afford cable if you don't have an extra 5 dollars a month? Or is it the principle of the matter? If so, I'm sure your really telling comcast.

To be honest, I always felt that Rice was exaggerating on that point. I remember that interview clearly. He was talking about how the rotation of the ball was something a receiver had to get used to. Mind you, I never played professional football, but I did play football quite a bit in my hayday. And I never thought the rotation of the ball was an issue.

Im not so sure it really makes that much a difference; I think Rice was kinda emphasizing how much of a hard worker he is in that interview.

As for the matter at hand, I agree that Hill needs to put a little more on his throws. Hell, Steve Young didnt have a strong arm either, but his balls didnt wilt in midair and fall down like they were shot out of the sky.

I was amazed how "dead" those balls looked on their way down, and the defense defiinitely had time to recover.

That was my favorite part.

he even called him a dummy lmao

He didn't call him a dummy. He said "Dab gummit!"

While deflecting from current coaching woes here is a trip down amnesia lane.

You know your team hit rock bottom when dead threads pop up like zombies.
I read briefly rom one of the zone-posted articles that Singles has a better HC record than Shanny now? That cant be right.
Reading the first few comments makes me realize how much technology has changed in 12 years, even though it FEELS like it hasn't been that long. Is this was getting old is like?
