Besides the Bay Area, everyone else (and their mother) think Alex is the biggest bust since Ryan Leaf. Until he proves otherwise, one good half against a pretender does NOT make him a probowler.

Reading the news wire article from the Salt Lake Tribune it seems like Smith has fans in Utah who still believe and are excited.

Watching that sloppy play for the last 3 years?

2006 - Alex improved by leaps and bounds

2007 - Injured 3rd week of the season, pretty much wasn't a factor the rest of the season..

2008 - Never played a down..

For almost 2 of those 3 years he doesn't even play a down...

So in the last 3 years, what sloppy play?

why.....he didnt say anything untrue or offensive. Indy is probably going to kill us. he could have been even meaner about it.

yeah, hes goofy looking and sounds annoying, but so is every other sports analyst on TV.

He has fans here in Memphis too, Z is just upset his boy Hill couldn't get it done, he is probably secretly hoping Smith falls flat on his face, just for personal satisfaction.
