Of all the things you could yet at someone "Go be a fan of a different team" about on this forum, black alternate uniforms doesn't seem like it should be one nor does it make much sense.

Oh god no not a different alternate jersey they might wear a few times during the season. God if there is even the slightest change or anything different I will flip. Trying new things and changing things up is the worst thing that can ever happen ever even if it is of no consequence. (Please read in sarcastic tone)

Yes they were but they look pretty damn near identical to the ones from the 80's and so on. They went with the throwback look. And they look great.
