Did you honestly think Kap was talking about the design of the jersey?? That makes no sense.

The jerseys are black because they wanted alternate uniforms, and the players got to design them. The players all loved Kap's jersey. Thats why they happened. It had NOTHING TO DO WITH JIM HARBAUGH.

And it takes two years before you can wear a jersey change...which coincidentally was the time then the black jersey first appeared.
