Im going to make a prediction based on Goodwin's reaction. Its BOTH the home and road 94 throwbacks.

See how he reacts to the first one, and then turns his head and has another reaction? I think he saw one first, and then looked left and saw another version.

Notice I too liked the "49" shield logo as a jersey patch!

Alas, the stupid new rule banning different color helmet shells precludes these ever happening.

I like those "fauxbacks" a lot. That would be the only other alternate Id accept if we aren't gonna go with a 94 inspired alt.

1955 + 1963 + 1994 elements, mix and match as the season goes along...wish they could wear the silver helmet (might be a chance in 2019, as there's a rumor the NFL might do away with the one-helmet shell color rule next season (so teams can wear throwback helmets for the 100th anniversary season).

If Nike wasn't so lame and corporate id guess they did like Majestic does with MLB throwbacks and make them of the old school polyester to be accurate to the era.

That rule is (hopefully was) dumb and hypocritical anyways...considering college teams have different color helmets all the time (*cough*Oregon*cough*). You telling me college kids' safety is any less important Goodell?

The throwbacks (if they're heavily based on the '94 throwbacks) should be designated our "PrimeTime" unis (as a nod to Deion, who apart from the Philly blowout, only wore the dropshadow numbered jerseys with white pants) and worn during all 5 primetime games next season:

@ GB (whites)
vs LAR (reds)
vs OAK (reds, Niners have never worn white pants vs the Raiders, and this is their last Bay Area meeting, so this could be the lone exception to wear the normal home reds with gold pants)
vs NYG (reds)
@ SEA (whites...Sherman with a pick-6 and dance in their endzone a la Deion against the Falcons )

We were 11-0 in these reds.

Jimmy is 5-0 as a Niner.

Thus, Jimmy will never lose wearing them. Its simple math.
