lol ive already researched this. Im correct, trust me.

In week 1 we wore the old reds against the Raiders on MNF. We won.

In week 2 we wore the old whites @KC against Joe Montana. We lost.

In week 3 we wore the throwback reds as the road team in LA against the Rams. We won.

In week 4 we wore the throwback reds against the Saints at home. We won.

In week 5 we went back to the old reds at home against Philly and got blown out.

In week 6 and 7 we wore the throwback whites against Detroit and Atlanta. We won both games. The ATL game was the Deion pick 6. George Seifert got superstitious at this point and decided to start wearing the throwbacks full time.

In week 8 we played in the throwback reds at home against the Bucs, we won.

Week 9 bye.

In week 10 we wore the throwback reds on the road against the Redskins, who usually wore whites at home. We won.

Week 11 and 12, we wore the throwback reds against the Cowboys and Rams, won both.

Week 13 throwback whites in NO, we won.

Week 14 throwback red against ATL, we won.

Week 15 at SD in the throwback whites, we won.

Week 16 throwback reds against Denver, we won.

Week 17 throwback whites in Minnesota resting the starters, we lost.

Playoffs against Bears, Cowboys, and Chargers, all throwback reds, we won all 3.

11-0 throwback reds
4-1 throwback whites
1-1 old reds
0-1 old whites

Forgot: before the BYE week, wore the throwback striped socks, after the BYE, switched to solid red socks

Also, the game at Anaheim featured the Niners in red as you said but the Rams also wore a colored uni. They wore their yellow ones. This was the first game wearing them.

I had assumed this was a whites game, because it was on the road against a team wearing colored home unis (I had already edited my post when I remembered Washington wears whites at home). This is what threw me off. Stupid double colored unis. ***mumbling*** Frickin' two road games wearing colors....****

Haha....I found one of my old posts on this thread. Here's what we did in the RED '94 throws, the niners were 11-0 and out scored opponents 411-213. That almost an average score of 37-19. They scored 30 in 9 of the 11, 40 in 5 of the 11 and put up 50 on Atl.

Nice.

To be fair, we also kicked ass in the throwback whites, too That Minnesota game shouldn't even count since they rested the starters in the 2nd half (Vikings led 10-7 at half).

I had the numbers at onetime but I'm too lazy to go look it up again but I want to say in the 16 games in throwbacks we were 15-1 (which has been stated priority) with a PF-PA of 567-280 or something like that. It was juggernaut level. Which won't surprise anyone that watched that 94 squad.

My favorite sports team of all-time. (I didn't start watching 49ers closely until 1992 season when I was 13).

My Top 3 favorite sports seasons that I followed closely:

1. 1994 49ers
2. 2012 A's
3. 2011 49ers

Both teams were throwbacking to '50s unis, when teams often went color vs color jerseys so the white vs color rules shouldn't really be rigid in this count
Hope they have them for sale at the State of franchise
Looking at that breakdown, it's amazing how often we had Summerall and Madden calling our games. Also, we played a ton of week 17 MNF games back in the 80s and 90s

Wasn't the throw backs only suppose to run for like 3 weeks or something like that? I know we had to petition to keep wearing them.

On a side note, The only time Deion Sanders wore the non throwback was the blowout loss to the eagles in week 5. Since he joined in week 3.

This just reminded me that the NFL banned "do-rags" or other clothing on the head but under the helmet after that season. The conservative NFL is not a new thing.

I'm 38 and my 2 sports passions are the Niners and the Cubs (I know it's kinda weird but I've lived in Illinois my whole life and have been knowingly following both since '87).

My favorites are the Following:

1994 Niners (the loses to Dal in '92 & '93 and the Cowboy bandwagon makes this the best)

1989 Cubs (Sandberg is my all time favorite athlete and I will always love this team)

2016 Cubs (Finally got see it, just special)

1989 Niners (just excellence)

1992 Niners (showed there was life after Joe)

The team first donned the 1955 throwback uniforms during a week 3 match against the Los Angeles Rams and the following week at home versus the Saints. Both games ended in victory (coincidentally, these were also the first two games Deion Sanders played with the 49ers after signing as a free-agent after week 2). The team then suffered an embarrassing 40–8 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at home wearing their regular red uniforms with gold pants. (Football statistics site Football Outsiders calculates this 49ers loss to be the second-most lopsided football game they'd tracked from 1994–2008.)

For the subsequent three games until their BYE week, the team again was scheduled to play games wearing the throwback uniforms with white pants and dropshadows, and all three games resulted in wins. During the following weeks the 49ers embarked on a 10-game winning streak. The team, prompted both by the superstition of coach George Seifert, and the preference of players, petitioned the NFL to wear the throwback uniforms for the rest of the season.
