I still have my 94 Young and Rice jerseys. Too bad I can't fit into them anymore. I guess its time to drop 40 lbs to rick em this season.

Those uniforms are slick lookin. All white is what champion teams wear. It's like comparing Warriors all white uniform to their old navy blue/orange
Really glad we finally moved on from the all black .

Still like them better then the crap black uniforms.
That is a pretty low bar. I just can't get past the drop shadow number. I know I am in the minority but I think it looks goofy.
Hideous. And the stripes on the pants. I hated the 94 unis. I hate these too. Cool.

Those don't look good at all. The number look good that's about it. What's up with the collar? I don't but jerseys anymore so are they all like that? My last jersey purchase was Taylor Mays and we all know how that worked out.

A little history lesson:
The original 1955 Niners uniforms were a motley set. Budgets were tighter, so jerseys and pants from previous season might be mixed in with the current season's set. Opposing teams also often matched up color vs color jerseys more often (wearing white as a "change set" wasn't mandatory if two teams had sufficiently contrasting colored jerseys):
^ The white set had black stripes on the sleeve and socks, which weren't duplicated 100% accurately on the 1994 "throwbacks". I think this was more of a corner-cutting method of quickly getting jerseys ready for gameday (all equipment guys had to do was sew on dropshadow "throwback" numerals onto the regular white/red striped blank jerseys, and leave off sewing on the shoulder numerals)...
^ you can see how the same 3-striped jersey templates were used for both the plain red and white and throwback dropshadow numerals. The team probably didn't go too deep in their research in '94 (Internet was in its infancy and there was no google image search): most of the photos of the '55 unis are of the red jerseys, so they probably went off those B&W photos and just did the reverse colors for the whites, keeping the same stripes and socks from the home red set. Therefore the 1994 "throwback" set was in reality a "fauxback", i.e., was an innacurate replication of the 1955 uniforms (especially the white uniforms)
Thus, this 2018 reiteration '94 all whites can justly be called a "Throwback of a Fauxback"

Yep. You can see that already in some of the Jimmy G photos.
Love that the white throwbacks are back. They will hopefully add the red ones in 2019 for the NFL 100th.
