Red socks/sleeves and non-white shoes will solve that. The players will have a choice on colors of that stuff. The dumb color rush uniform rules that are now gone used to force everyone to look like Dr. Seuss characters, all in one color head to toe. Looked like footy pajamas.

exactly.. but i think those jerseys need to comply for Rush Color and thats why they made them all white and thats why we didnt see the red version.. otherwise red socks would look much better.. they are a little too white

The NFL already announced the color rush rules are gone.

The players will have their choice of shoe, sock, and sleeve colors.

the blacks aren't officially gone forever

"Those uniforms will remain available for the team to wear in the future," the 49ers said in a statement regarding the uniforms. (Which may be the worst news for many 49ers fans.)

Should be worn

@ GB
vs Raiders
@ Seattle

If we had the red throwbacks, those should've been worn agains the Rams or Giants

We oughtta wear them in the preseason against the Chargers to remind their fan base of that Super Bowl beatdown.

Fun fact: our last win in both the red and White versions of the '94 throws was against SD (week 15 for the White and of course the Super Bowl for the Red).
My guess is that these get worn against the Raiders, and at the Rams.

Raiders for TNF color rush with white socks. At the Rams with both teams in throwbacks, red socks in tow.
A throwback of a throwback. Ok. Ugly uniforms

A little history lesson:

The original 1955 Niners uniforms were a motley set. Budgets were tighter, so jerseys and pants from previous season might be mixed in with the current season's set. Opposing teams also often matched up color vs color jerseys more often (wearing white as a "change set" wasn't mandatory if two teams had sufficiently contrasting colored jerseys):

^ The white set had black stripes on the sleeve and socks, which weren't duplicated 100% accurately on the 1994 "throwbacks". I think this was more of a corner-cutting method of quickly getting jerseys ready for gameday (all equipment guys had to do was sew on dropshadow "throwback" numerals onto the regular white/red striped blank jerseys, and leave off sewing on the shoulder numerals)...

^ you can see how the same 3-striped jersey templates were used for both the plain red and white and throwback dropshadow numerals. The team probably didn't go too deep in their research in '94 (Internet was in its infancy and there was no google image search): most of the photos of the '55 unis are of the red jerseys, so they probably went off those B&W photos and just did the reverse colors for the whites, keeping the same stripes and socks from the home red set. Therefore the 1994 "throwback" set was in reality a "fauxback", i.e., was an innacurate replication of the 1955 uniforms (especially the white uniforms). It goes without saying they didn't even attempt to replicate the 1955 helmets and just kept wearing their 1989-95 helmets (this actuallty helps with the 2018 "throwback" since NFL rules nowadays only allow one helmet shell color).

Thus, this 2018 reiteration of the '94 all whites can justly be called a "Throwback of a Fauxback"

these jerseys look amazing, im so happy this team is embracing its past. seems like every decision they make the last couple years has been positive
Now we just need to get the 90s era jacket for Kyle to wear on the sideline for the throwback games. I wore the same one to the game in Chicago in December.

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the men's jerseys on NFL shop that are 80 bucks and 150 bucks?
