I don't care for them personally, but they aren't awful either.
They look like XFL uniforms.
unis from 1955? genius post man, great job lol
'55? XFL was played in the 2000's.
The ORIGINALS....upon which the '94s were based:

Aesthetically, the silver helmeted uniforms in the late 1950s were nice looking but, come on, this is the San Francisco 49ERS, as in the year of the California GOLD rush. The silver mines were in Nevada, which is a nice, accidental coincidence of the Raiders moving to Vegas, but the Niners need to keep it gold.

get over this whole gold vs silver, CA vs Nevada BS (wtf?) the team ACTUALLY wore silver helmets in their history—it's not like it's some outta the blue, whim decision they would make *cough*black uniforms*cough* that has NOTHING to do with their history
it'd actually be a nice tribute to their forgotten early teams and at least would have the oval SF logo (unlike the plain red helmets):
vs
…so the team would still be recognizable as the 49ers.
FYI: the team switched to silver helmets in the early 60's more as a nod to their gray-haired head coach, the "Silver Fox" Red Hickey, who invented the shotgun formation with the Niners.

This could be an alternate helmet worn with the '94 throwbacks, silver (white gold) with a hint of gold:
i'd get rid of the maroon facemask tho…

I wish they would not wear this special jersey often... should just wear them on a very special type of games..
also, can someone tell JERRY RICE it's over !!!
He's taking away BOSA's spotlight !!!
Jerry Rice can do whatever the f he wants and considering he was on the 94 team I think it makes perfect sense for him to be out there. s**t I even bought his version of that jersey(tho that's mostly cuz I've been a major jersey jinx and I know I can't jinx the GOAT)
IF there's one player from that 94 team that should be wearing and marketing this uniform then it should be PRIME... he was the main reason we finally beat DALLAS.. and he was the main reason why HARPER did not do CRAP in the NFCCG...
Lol if there is any past player to represent the Niners, it's Jerry. Not Deion Sanders. Period. No matter what kind of uniform they are wearing
uhmmmmm, there's a guy name JOE and it looks like you've never heard of him ...
... and you're IN DENIAL if you think Rice had the better impact on the 94 team over PRIME..
Deion brought the SWAG to that entire DEFENSE... again, what did HARPER do in that NFCCG when PRIME shadowed him??
I'm too young to have been able to see Joe play, sorry. But I do know that Jerry represents both the Joe era, and the Steve era and is widely considered to be the best football player in history. He played for the team for 16 seasons; Deion played for 1. I don't care who impacted what for ONE season. Jerry impacted the team for 16 seasons, so he is the obvious one to represent the Niners when it comes to anything 49ers related.
Not dismissing the fact that Deion helped them win their last trophy, but to me there is no way he should be representing anything 49ers over Jerry.

They're 94 throwbacks but they're still 49er jerseys. If you're going to bring back a former 49er great to be out there with the current players you bring back one of the greatest 49ers and players of all time. That's not Deion Sanders.
Moon just saying sh*t to get a rise out of people.

meh…that season is memorable for Deion's lone stint with us—also, 4 out of the 6 games scheduled for the throwbacks are (tentatively) in *ahem* primetime…

That season is memorable for us winning the SB. Deion played a large part of that..but it's absolutely idiotic to attribute Deion to the 49ers, regardless to how good he was that one year.
Deion was a great player but he's never been considered a 49er great. 1 year with the team regardless of his impact during that one year doesn't change that, considering he did more for one of our biggest rivals.
