agree!
The NFL's "5 year rule" that prevents teams from making any minor or major uniform changes means that in 2022 the Niners can implement some updates next year (they last revised their jerseys to having just two stripes in 2017).
All they'd need to do to go full-time classic dynasty look:
• go back to the 1989-95 oval helmet logo full time (this would save the equipment managers time re-sticking decals for throwback games). This logo just seems "brighter" and pops out more to me. The increase in its use (painted on-field and endzones @ Levi's) seem to hint its imminent return. There always seems to be a confusion in using the proper shade of red for the 2009-present logo with the extra gold ring (prob confused for the darker cardinal red of the 1996-2008 logo) so just going back to the 1989-95 logo with bright scarlet red simplifies things.
• bring back the three sleeve stripes for the jerseys (and not the weird-looking 2009-2016 stripes). When they switched to just two stripes in 2017, the Niners went to great lengths explaining away the change, that it was to "simplify" the jerseys' design, sleeves were shorter, it was to match the two red stripes on the helmets, etc. (but we all suspect it was a Nike-influenced decision so that the team wouldn't have a subliminal "Adidas Tri-Stripes" on their uniforms). It was a silly change then and should be abandoned for the team's legacy look (their '94 throwbacks prove three stripes can be done, plus it would also simplify things logistically for the team's equipment managers: only having one blank jersey template to stitch on either plain or shadowed numerals for the regular/throwback jerseys, respectively).
^ These updates wouldn't bring back the full 80's look (team prob doesn't brink back the "candy-cane" striped socks and the small "TV" numbers on the jerseys used to be on the side above the sleeve stripes, not on top of the shoulder pads), but it'd be a start…
