All they'd need to do to go full-time classic dynasty look:

• go back to the 1989-95 oval helmet logo full time (this would save the equipment managers time re-sticking decals for throwback games). This logo just seems "brighter" and pops out more to me. The increase in its use (painted on-field and endzones @ Levi's) seem to hint its imminent return. There always seems to be a confusion in using the proper shade of red for the 2009-present logo with the extra gold ring (prob confused for the darker cardinal red of the 1996-2008 logo) so just going back to the 1989-95 logo with bright scarlet red simplifies things.
I whipped this up a while back (just removed the gold ring) and I think it looks a lot better. I prefer how the SF overlap on the newer logo as opposed to the gaps in the older one.

Here's the current logo for comparison.
