wtf is this? looks like UCLA and USC banged and birthed a terrible uni. those numbers are unreadable in the distressed style. they should be outlined or solid. not a fan of the gold design on the shoulders either. what is that, dust? nuggets? stripes on the undershirt look like they were lifted from the Chiefs uni.
uhhh 2 out of 10. wouldnt eat it.

That's what I was thinking and I like FSU unis. Something about the no stripe on the helmet and pant looks more regal or classic. Like Notre Dame or something. The red pant I think is interesting also for a night game would pop on TV. Still red and gold thanks to the helmet.

All they'd need to do to go full-time classic dynasty look:
• go back to the 1989-95 oval helmet logo full time (this would save the equipment managers time re-sticking decals for throwback games). This logo just seems "brighter" and pops out more to me. The increase in its use (painted on-field and endzones @ Levi's) seem to hint its imminent return. There always seems to be a confusion in using the proper shade of red for the 2009-present logo with the extra gold ring (prob confused for the darker cardinal red of the 1996-2008 logo) so just going back to the 1989-95 logo with bright scarlet red simplifies things.
I whipped this up a while back (just removed the gold ring) and I think it looks a lot better. I prefer how the SF overlap on the newer logo as opposed to the gaps in the older one.
Here's the current logo for comparison.

It needs the gold ring. Too plain without it.

Some people definitely suffer from aesthetical blindness.
These uniform concepts are painfully bad.

They showed our 1996 uniforms again during today's telecast.
LOVED THOSE. We looked like ROYALTY!.. but having Steve Young and Jerry Rice in those unis might have been more of the reason.

I think with the return of the quentin font and the 3rd stripe on the jersey...
and the home and away 1994 jerseys as alternates, we have the best possible set of uniforms possible. I have no complaints and hope that these 4 stick around as is for good.
