They were gold during the 1997 season. But that was it. Then they turned into the current beige color.

That's actually from 98 (we didn't play Detroit in 97, played them in 98). The white pants were worn in 96 and 97. The first game with the gold pants was the 98 opener against the Jets (Heart's 96yd TD in OT).

And I want them to bring those pants back, just with the current stripe, would look much better.

Yeah me too, I love the current jerseys, but was stoked when at first they made the pants a lighter gold color but then they changed it to the current beige. I thought they looked really sick. I wonder why they changed it.
