I think (and HOPE) you're right, these are conceptual and it's not likely we'll see these dramatic changes next year accross the league. They need to work a bit more on their Niner concept, gold helmets are a must-keep so and the new concept makes us look like the Redskins/Chiefs.

There is no way that an owner of a franchise steeped in history (Niners, Packers, Cowboys, Bills, Giants, Steelers, etc.) would allow Nike to change their branding. Nike is not in that position, and neither is the NFL. The NFL simply approves changes at the franchise's request.

No owner would say "Hey, look, I know we've had essentially the same branding for the last 40 years, which is rich in history for our fans. But you know what? f**k it. If Nike wants to blow the whole thing up because the NFL gave them the jersey contract, let 'em."

Never gonna happen.

Yeah...The sersey are gonna look pretty much the same as they do now with maybe a slightly different stlye (the jersey itself, not the colors, logos or insignias) and a swoosh.

Thats it. No complete redesign.
