Nike will have a huge improvement I hope. The necks on the jerseys now are horrid
the neck is designed to fit better with pads, it looks terrible without pads, but the neck was input from the players. The design will remain the same.

Good?
I already have a Jennings, just ordered an andy lee, most likely a ray mg, sopoaga, miller, Morgan, or a walker. It depends on who gets a long term deal or not.

An all black jersey? Stupid........
Anything you currently see claiming to be the new Nike uniforms are false.

All of the pictures from this thread were done over at sportslogos.net and since the Internet fails at anything close to fact checking, people think those are the actual uniform.s

The 49ers uniform next will look identical to the one this year, just Nike will make it instead of Reebok.

You may be right, but there have been some hideous Nike Pro Combat uniforms that showed up this year in college football during the season. Who can forget these Power Rangers look alike jerseys from the Georgia Bulldogs?

or Stanford's?

You never know what Nike will do once they have the contract............

NFL wants to preserve teams' corporate identities and unis/logos are obviously a big part of that...recently the league got even more conservative regarding on-field apparel in limiting the number of times alternate/throwback unis can be worn in a season to 2 games (and prohibiting them in primetime games) because they want to limit the variegation of a team's "look" especially in the games with most exposure in order to project a more uniform (pardon the pun) and consistent appearance. Teams are also restricted to NOT being able to make drastic uniform redesigns and overhauls more than once every 5 years I believe, again to preserve a team's branding and marketing for an extended period of time

Here's what you're failing to understand.

Nike can't do jack **** to a NFL team's uniform unless the NFL team agrees to it. The same applies to NCAA teams, Nike can't do anything to a school's uniform unless the school agrees to it.

Both of those uniforms were agreed to by the schools. Oregon is about the only school that Nike has free reign upon.

Nike isn't doing s**t; just because they have rights to the uniforms doesn't mean they 't have the rights; or ANY SAY to delcare what design a team can use; all they can do is suggest s**t.

-Do you see teams like USC or Alabama changing their s**t to this account? No. -Everybody looks at Oregon, and forgets the "father" of Nike (Phil Knight) lives up in the Northwest (where teams like 'Oregon' and the 'Seahawks' play host, who wear the ugliest uniforms in sports history).
Nobody wants Nike's designs, which is why every uniform will look as it normall
