I'm pretty sure the uni's are going to remain consistant with what the team has been wearing. Probably the only thing that will change is a Nike logo instead of Reebok. I seem to remember Jed saying something to that affect. I will try and find it; I will post the link here if I do.

OMG OMG, a buddy of mine who works PR at Nike's California's office in Santa Monica told me a huge scoop about the new side-line merchandise, and THE NEW UNIFORMS/JERSEYS that will debut on April 3rd!!!!


He's telling me our new uniforms are going to be almost the spitting image of our 1991-1995 duds. -KHAKI PANTS AND FULL-ARM STRIPES ARE COMING BACK!!!!!!!!!





Oh, and Deion Sanders' 1994 (red) Air Diamond Turf II's are gonna be hitting the market again in early Spring/Summer!!!!!!

Oh and as for the old stripes/jersey design from last yer, they're gone regardless; only base-color design and logos remain under copyright with each team (otherwise pending league approval a year in advance, if changed), last year's jersey design (stripes, style, logo placements) are owned under Reebok's intellectual property (design) rights. Specially in terms of teams which might opt for the Nike Pro Combat gear design, their jerseys will come without stripes (cause Nike will have designed them that way).

Nearly all the uniforms (excluding teams already changing logos/uniforms a year in advance) will look the same as last year, but the uniform design/placement of stripes/logos, and material appearance will all be different. -If our jersey design looks anything like last year, Nike will get sued by Reebok.

People keep b***hing, and are worrying about this, but the only changes we're seeing to our uniform are going to be pants color + Nike uniform design + broader arm stripes (that don't fade into the arm-tuck of the jersey's arm sleeves).

-Other than that they're gonna look practically the same as last year (same skinny leg stripes, same number/letter font, same stripe-less socks, same helmet color and logos).

Meh I want the 1994 jerseys back. Those were the best ones ever IMO. I would buy a Willis, Davis, or ASmith jersey if they had those jerseys.

The current design was developed by the team, and as such given to reebok to manufacture.

The design did not change in 2002 when reebok got the contract by the NFL.

It could be the great alternative uni! IMO I`d like to see niners playing one or two games per season wearing this uni!

yeah that's what i was thinking, our team had final say on what our uni looked like not reebok. i think it's staying the same
