Again, this is based on our interpretation of what we think the hierarchy might be. For example, I have a ton of SVPs and EVPs and GMs at my current employer, but depending on where they are in the company, some report directly to the CEO/President and some do not. Reporting at that level doesn't always follow a logical hierarchy based on title.

Jed stated that Paraag reports directly to him.

This has always been the case. Doesn't make the GM role reporting to Jed mutually exclusive. Jed has also said this about Baalke.

Wonder what Guido's position is? As President it seems he is being bypassed by nearly all the key players.

We switched to a 3-4 because we found a coach in Nolan who knew what to do with our speed at LB. We need to switch back to 4-3 because we need to know what to do with our size and talent at DL.

Let Bow come back to see if he can play MLB, Ray-ray play weakside and Brooks play strong side. Let Lynch try and battle for a roster spot on the DL.
Two things:

1) I sense a belief that the glory days = 4-3 D. Not true. Niners were 3-4 for first four super bowls. Michael Carter and Manu Tuiasosopo were pivotal at NT.

2) Buckner and Armstead DO NOT fit in the 4-3. Switching to the 4-3 would basically mean giving up on one or both of them. That's not happening.

The niners have used both 3/4 and 4/3 (as well as other fronts) over the years and players need to be able to make an impact in each. The idea that Buckner and Armstead are so similar that one would need to be taken off the field in a 4/3 baffles me. Buckner is a quicker penetrating force who can chase from the DE position or be solid inside. Armstead is a very strong DT/DE who is quicker than I first believed. They both need to learn to lower their pad levels because they are so tall, but that is a matter of refining technique, not lack of ability.

Can you explain your thinking on one being eliminated in a 4/3?

Dude Paraag is the Rasputin to Czar Jed. One simply does not fire Rasputin.
He must have naked pictures of jedha and if he gets fired, they will be released.

This dude needs to get OUT of the interview room and get to signing these guys stat.

Jeremy Kerley - Must-sign. Currently on-pace for 672 yards which is stellar from the slot (Zebra & Eagle/E)WR position and is our #1 target on 3rd downs. Given we run 3-WR sets over 80% of the time, Kerley will continue to be a big part of this offense. In on 76% of the offensive snaps.
Gerald Hodges - #3 on the team in tackles (79) despite only being in on 50.28% of the defensive snap counts. Has 3 sacks (2nd), 3 TFL, 2 INT's, 1 FF and 1 Recovery. Plays with passion and seems to have gotten more sound with each game in this scheme as the season's progressed.
Andrew Tiller - Would easily be a starter in a power scheme and had great chemistry with Brown on the right side of the OL.
Glenn Dorsey - While only playing in 33% of the defensive snaps, you could instantly see higher quality play when he's in there compared to Mike Purcell and an injured Quinton Dial. We need a veteran presence as insurance.
Chris Jones - Really nice late addition who has now played both end positions and is now getting many snaps at NT. Solid depth with some upside.
Nick Bellore - He's #52 or #53 on your roster for ST purposes but now has some added experience at ILB in this defense.
Rod Streater - Rarely got to start but when he did, he performed. Only used on 22% of the snaps. He's a bigger body compared to Quinton Patton (we saw how that helped on the TD). I'd like to see him compete with the other two big-bodied ZWR's on the roster in DeAndre Smelter and Eric Rogers.

It's concerning NC.

Where does this put us with the time line on the rebuild? Dark ages?
Nick Bellore? Re-sign? Wtf?!
Paraag for GM, he is an excellent talent elevator and has vision for the future. Earned full and absolute trust with the ownership helps too.

Nah. This is a 7-8 win talent team. But we've got some work to do. With a top 2 pick, like last year, we should be able to add another impact player...maybe two if we're lucky. QB...Jimmy Gorropolo or Mitch Trubisky or Garrett or Allen.

We need to go HARD for Poe or Williams at NT in free agency, Britt at the ZWR, resign Kerley, add a FB, an ILB and CB.

Quality coaching + professional schemes/game planning + Health = chance to be competitive next year.

Teams need impact players, quality starters, role players, depth, and specialists. Bellore is #52 or #53 on the roster as a special teams stud and third team LB depth.
