A 49ers exec threatened to sue me when I correctly reported that the opening Levi's Stadium would generate annual profits of $100M or more.

If he's reporting on private financial information of a business he does open himself to a lawsuit by getting close to the line. He can state general numbers, but if he reveals documentation he shouldn't have access to that's a violation of a private business's rights. They were right to warn him.

Right. If he sticks with that he's outside of any problems. But they would question how he knows it's in that area, and suggest to him that if he has documentation he shouldn't that is telling him this he can be litigated against for revealing such details.

It seems more like the 49ers ownership is the bigger entity acting like the smaller person here. And why is this posted in the VPFO thread? I don't think it has much to do with PM.

It was a response to someone asking me for a source or link for the accusation of being sued.

Hard to like someone who makes a living being 100% negative about you all of the time, actively tries to damage your brand and then acts like Nostradamus when 1/3 of his crap comes true. This idiot needed to be fired 5 years ago.

Baalke had issues but I'm quite sure Marathe has had final say on a lot of roster decisions (money wise - NOPE MY METRICS SAY THAT WOULD BE OVERPAYING AND I HAVE NUDE PICS OF JED). He's the biggest problem the franchise has by far. Outside of the obvious ownership issue.

He was hating on the 49ers during the Harbaugh years too. TK is a complete swamp rat hack regardless, the Yorks have only made it easier for him to be negative. But I guess negative press sells, and he's just doing whatever it takes to put food on the table

TK, Ann Killion, and to a degree John Middlekauff often bring up the front office's deficiencies. Although negative, there is a lot of truth to what they say. I cannot stand all this leaking of info. We look like a second class team, especially when the leaks backfire on us with Gutenkust and Gus Bradley (I'm totally fine with Paton btw). He wants to win with class. How about run the 49ers with class. Jed, or whoever's leaking the info, please keep your mouth shut, get the job done and then brag about it after. Paraag, please stay the hell out of Free Agent/Draft talent decisions and stick to the salary cap.
