49ers fans hate him. Almost everyone else seems to think he is not a problem.

Sounds like stuff is starting to leak out to the media though

The problem, IMHO, is that he is too high in the pecking order. VP of Football operations answers to the GM. Paraage's currently answers dircetly to the owner. Compounding the fact that Paraage is telling a GM candidate with 20-30 years of legit footbal experience how to do their job? Id drop out of contention too.

Starting to think this may be more of a reality than we realize.

Jed, "Trent will have all the resources he needs at his disposal."
Paraag, "Ha...sure...not if any of those exceed $X amount."

Who thinks he is not a problem?
He has been incharge of football operqtions while football ooerations were a mess these past few years. He has been a part of hiring five head coaches, he wrote the 49ers guide to hiring head coaches.

Time to throw that damn thing in the garbage along with the person that wrote it.
Praag is getting ready to run the 49ers upcoming draft, with the #2 pick this will be PM's legacy draft!

He has been a bug part of foitball operations for a long time and for most of that time football operations have been a mess. He wrote the 4ers guide to hiring coaches and since then the 4ers gave fired 7 head coaches.
He is the EVP of foitball ops and Chief Strategy Officer, football ops is a mess and the team strategy has sucked.
The hate for Paraag is funny. He is not a football guy and it will be in the best interest of the team to keep him away from football decisions. That being said it is easy to understand why the Yorks value so much. What were the two biggest challenges facing the team when transitioned from Eddie D to John and Denise? One was the catastrophic salary cap position which led to a wholesale roster purge. Since PM took over management of cap our position has been exemplary. Second was the need for a new stadium which they have built and he played a role. Paraag is not a football guy but he is a valuable asset to the business of the 49ers and coinciding with his time with the team business has been very good.

It would be nice if PM would just stick to what he does best and manage the cap.
So if PM and Jed have it all worked out then Trent Baalke was the sole bad guy for position we are in?
Why did we take so long then to sack him?
Just the Tomsula hire alone should have given Jed enough reason.
I am sorry but this spin is just too much for me.

He had been the #1 football person in the organization for some time now. He is THE football guy.
