See here's my issue; people who have gone on the record to critique or praise Marathe are on the record. Every article that sources a "secret anonymous source" should be treated with the same skepticism as John Lynch saying "bad wrap." I find it amazing that someone who's thought of as straightforward needs to suddenly lie to us all. Just a little too convenient no? Or are people willing to at all question that the whisper campaign is all there is.
You're looking for the kind of hard evidence that will never be available because of the secret nature of the NFL and especially the 49ers. The premise with Paraag is for a FO guy who's supposed to not be in a position of control there sure is a lot of smoke in the air as to his unwanted involvement and not just recently but from the moment he walked onto this team over a decade ago.

I agree. But he needs to stay out of football meetings and do what he's good at which is signing who Lynch tells him to.

Great podcast. Much different than I expected. He doesn't seem anything like the weasel and villain the media and fans make him out to be.

I don't think he is a villain but I thought it was time for a change at the top of Football Operations.

This is his team and vision. I hope he hits a home run.
