Non football guys are always looked down on because no one really understands what they do.

Gotta add "Player usually sucks" right before "49ers sign player to contract."

He wasn't the Devil, he was the guy who was atop football operations when football operations were a complete disaster.
He is now atop football operations while things are going great. He deserves criticism for the bad times and praise for what is happening now.
He is a smart guy and I think he has learned quite a bit in his role.

If I recall he got criticized during the bad times. More than anyone. Now during the good times when he is killing the game, some posters (not saying who) keep bringing up the bad times like they can't move on.

I know. Lol. It is going to be sweet when we are back in the playoffsand competing for Super bowls. They are going to act like they were buying in from the beginning of the Lunch and Shanahan era, when in reality they are discrediting or doubting a lot of the moves and contracts. A lot of receipts will be brought back. They are all on here in writing.

Being the President of the team, the head of Football Operations and Chief Football Strategy Officer should earn someone more criticism than anyone for what is happening in football operations but it is time to move on from that.
That being said, if Baalke was allowed to do what he wanted without accountability to Marathe, that would fall on Jed's shoulders squarely.

As a South Bay lifer, I am happy for the local guy making good with the 49ers.

Again. It's the past, and you are still bringing it up. I moved on. Clearly you have not. Good luck

You commented on the criticism and I responded.
I moved onto praising the guy but I can still understand why he was criticized. It is odd that you cannot.

I moved onto praising the guy, maybe you can move on from being hurt about people talking about accountability?

Looks like at 7:10 pm you were still talking about what he did in the past. Carry on tho. Lol

You are talking about it as well, this is your comment that I responded to a few minutes ago:

Why so sore about criticism he received in the bad times, why not move on?
