Only cause I couldn't imagine him being any worse than what we saw on Sunday. This is where we have to trust the coaches to make the right move. If it's Smith then, ok. After watching Smith on Sunday, if it turns out to be David then I'm fine with that too...
My guess is that Smith will continue to start cause right now its better to go with the devil you know instead of the devil you don't know...

David Carr should never start. If anything it is going to be Troy Smith cause he has more mobility than either of the two, david is a crappier version of smith. But after seeing the Chargers get beat by the Chiefs I have calmed down from our blowout. I think we can still get 9 wins.

One thing I really don't understand is why even those of us done with Smith (myself included) are not for giving Carr a shot.
We may give up even more sacks than we have with Smith, but Carr IS about 100X more accurate than Smith. At least he may give us a shot down field. I'm sick of the roll out and throw 5 yards out of bounds when we have 1 on 1 down the sideline.
