Aren't you too clever... My kids would just love you.

Hit me up on birthdays. I have a batman, clown, and barney costume still loaded on the shaun hill starship.

LOL Nice. Glad you didn't leave it on the Smith bandwaggon. Last time I checked that thing was burning down.

If we are getting blown out next Sunday by halftime or the third quarter, I would not be at all surprised to see Carr under center and AS holding a clipboard again.
AS will be a backup by the middle of the season.

Nate Davis might even get a shot.

well, Johnson is high on both smith and davis so maybe Carr gets booted off, troy smith stays at 3 and Davis at No. 2 but I highly doubt it.
Check the career numbers...

QB A -- 65 TDs / 70 INTs / 75 rating
QB B -- 39 TDs / 48 INTs / 69 rating

who's better?

numbers don't lie

A = David Carr
B = Alex Smith

(p.s. start David Carr please)

I say we do like Buffalo and cut Alex now like they did Trent Edwards good riddance

You can't answer the question with the limited data provided. And if you honestly believe numbers don't lie, you are too naive to be allowed unsupervised access to the Internet.

Classic Alexcuser response. Alex is inferior statistically so just blame the stats as 'lying numbers'.

Do you understand neither statistics nor football? Apparently not.

And you missed the point. So complete FAIL. Congratulations.

Help us out then, what statistical category is Smith clearly superior?

Good question! I'd like to know where this blind loyalty comes from too!?! I know Carr is not the answer but I know he's better than Smith! The numbers may not ALWAYS tell the whole tail but they typically don't outright lie either... But dismissing that - I'd like to know how Smith is "any good" removing any excuses... No speculation just cold hard facts about what he's GOOD AT "NOW" - not where he could be in a different universe if this, that or the other thing HAD happened... No one ever answers that question!

Rather have Troy Smith. This kid needs to be given a chance!

Yeah and so does my mother

I'd say give it a game or 2 before David "you know he's better" Carr gets the start

I'll be honest, I'm not very knowledgeable on this guy. Looking at what he's done in the NFL, I'm not all that impressed though. What is it about this kid that's so appealing?
