I say put Carr in there until Davis is ready. Mike Johnson likes Davis I would imagine.

My concern is that the Smith haters are going to be disappointed by our other QB's. I don't think they could take the disappointment. But how can you disagree with benching Smith? Dude has to go.
Damon Bruce said it best, Smith went into a terrible situation and any QB would have failed with the carousel and terrible management of the team, but we need to move one regardless. There is too much baggage.
We are screwed.

We put the gamble down on Smith, it was his job to win or lose, he's losing it, now we draft a new QB next year.

We need more than a QB , but I agree we draft a qb only if we fire sing and this pile of Sh$t coaching staff he has brought in . And we still don't have a OL worth a crap. So it isn't all on the QB , payton could't win with this crap we have .

Can be attributed to coaching as much as having a good QB. Bradford does not have a supporting cast, and I am sure his OL is no good. He has a beast RB, but that is all, yet he is 2-2. Granted they are still playing division teams, but a good QB finds ways to win, regardless of their situation...
If we had a good QB, even this current coaching wouldn't cause us a loss...

We just don't have the QB of the future on the roster right now. Locker is outstanding. What an athlete and a good arm too. Luck is pretty good too IMO but a little less of an athlete. I'm not that high on Mallett. He seems like an Int waiting to happen. A vet proven QB may be good for a year or 2 while we develop the next guy.

Our coaching is absolutely horrendous. No question they coach us down. I see Harbaugh as no worse than 2 - 2 with this current roster. He coaches teams up. Sing is just an idiot. He gets out coached every single week no matter who we play. Is that what you really want to stick with for the future?
