I really hope there's no stupid f**king "Open Competition" this year. So tired of that s**t, it sets our team back every f**king year. Just name Smith as the starter so he can play with the first team, no switching off for every game.

Alex is the starter, the competition will be for the backup.

The competition is to see who will step in for Smith if he should falter or get injured next year, not who will start.

Which is what a backup is...

Well I'm all for getting rid of shaun hill, I have been the biggest anti hill guy for a while.

That being said, it would be funny if hill stayed and beat out carr and Smitty in the offseason. (i know there is no competition, but if alex comes out looking s**tty im sure the coaches would make the change)

I also think hill will be used as trade bait.
