Uh, no. Carr's helmet looks like absolute s**t.
Only weenies use the lock.
I would take the old skool leather helmet over these "aerodynamic" crap catchers any day of the week. I'm no fan of those things.

In fact whenever I do play Madden on Franchise mode, I change every last one of those friggin things and go for the more traditional look.

All preseason thread generally go toward apparel, at least nobody posted what Cup these guys wear. That would truly be disturbing. So we can be thankful that it hasn't gone that direction.

Another worthless thread but these newer helmets where designed to absorb hits better. Ulbrich started testing one out years ago and over time more and more players are wearing them. I don't think they have anything to do with being aerodynamic. Some players probably don't want to switch because they are use to the normal style and are creatures of habit. A lot of athletes like routines and things to be a certain way. Others figure why not try them out.

I have to agree with you on this one. I hate the new helmets. So what if they protect the player from head injuries.

That is all.

Why lock it? It is just for fun. I was going to do a poll on Young vs Montana or whether Smith is a bust but decided against it.

That man in the iron mask photo is worth it right there.

Agreed. He just has nothing better to do than to troll the message boards and play webzone police. But he will never be the zone police and he hates this. It eats at him from the inside. So he swoops in and tries to let the air out of everyone elses balloons. JRG...If you dont like the message board topic, then dont click on it...pretty simple huh?

Is that Jimmy Raye after calling a running play on 3rd down and 62 yards to go...
Wasn't there a kicker on the Bills in the early 90s who wore a double helmet? People don't realize what a pioneer that guy was.
