That's exactly what Tomsula would be
He can't even get a DC job, let alone head coach. That speaks volumes in itself right there. Singletary at least was assistant head coach for a few years

Hope not. 49ers need an xs & os Coach on offense, someone that can teach a QB, teach a scheme. Keep Tomesula as DLINE coach.

By all accounts JT is a great guy, a great motivator a good D-line coach but couldnt think of a more unattractive candidate for a head coaching job. We have no information about his X's and O's , hes only been a head coach in NFL Europe, we have no idea about what kind of staff he could assemble. By all accounts he would need Baalke's help with this. Its such a lame duck coach, A total Yes man that these 2 Bufoons are looking for. I am super bias because I am a big Harbs supporter and could be wrong about JT but man I just dont see him as a head coach.

We don't know what staff any candidates can/will assemble. Since you "don't know" as you already stated then why is it you leap to assuming Tomsula would need Baalke's help.

I hope that we don't stoop to this. This would set back the franchise; back to the mid 2000s style of running the team.

We knew for sure that Harbs was bringing his staff , Roman , Fangio an so on. They talked Harbs into keep Tomsula an Rathman. JH had his own staff. It's real uncertain who tomsula could bring in or who he has in mind

Dont think it would be a good idea with Tomsula leading the way. He can fire up the players on the sideline, but gameplanning, making adjustments during game and managing a game is different.

"Buffoons" hahaha
No I believe your assessment is right. JT is a nice guy and a DL motivator, but it ends there

Here is the other side: a great deal of the success of our D, and especially our D line can be attributed to him. So, not only would we acquire a most questionable HC, we'd lose one of the best position coaches in the league. Our Offense would definitely not improve, but I'm afraid our Defense would regress.
