I wonder if he realizes the opportunity he has in front of him right now. Alex is far from a lock to be the starter next season.
As great as I would love to see him out on the field, the league would never allow it. Especially him playing for a west coast team, with all the east coast bias.We can best hope that his greatness rubs off onto our other players while on the sidelines.

He's a lock to start the season as starter. JH does really like him.

(the) Tolzien has actually decided to embrace the East Coast Bias... by rotating the North American continent 180 degrees. ESPN, Thou Shalt Suck It.

Mind blown....

God? probably not. Tolzien? ... ?
I am looking forward to see what the 49ers do with the QB situation. If they don't sign another QB I think that means the Niners are happy with the progress of Kaepernick, and Tolzien. If the Niner are not happy they will bring in another QB. I hope the Niner are like me and are not happy with Alex's progress. I believe next year the QB job is Alex's job to lose if he struggles next year like he did this year he needs to be replaced. Don't get me wrong Alex showed flashes of being a good QB this year but he needs to be more consistent. He's been in the NFL for some time now it's time to take the training wheels off, period.
Tolzien can throw all 4 receivers open......

.....At the same time....Oooohhhh Yeeeaaahhhhh!
Tolzien will be @the Super Bowl

scouting our opponent for the 2013 SB.
Tolzien will light the league on fire, then the world. He won't stop until the universe implodes in on itself.
The Chargers cut Tolzien and took his playbook

so he wore his jersey at their funeral

Sorry, this is just retarded. Alex has more job security at this point than anyone else not named Rodgers, Brees, Eli or Roethlisberger. Smith did what the coaching staff asked of him, played within the system, didn't turnover the ball and made timely plays when the team needed it.

Changing QB's midstream at this point, especially after making it all the way to the NFC Championship Game would be ridiculous. Get Alex some weapons and see what happens, if he doesn't make any additional progress next year, then yeah, should completely up for grabs in 2013, there's no way in hell Harbaugh's going to look anywhere else and risk throwing the whole season before it even began.

Same here. I think Alex gets more help this year and this will be the first year all of us can grade his talent. There is not a defense he has not seen and he will be in the same offense. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a big year
