I was being sarcastic. I think 9er fans are highly self-entitled and extremely delusional.

On this basis and assuming you don't include yourself in this general insult, which team do you support?

I support this team, I'm just not an irrational fanboy. I think most fans of sports teams, no matter the sport are irrational. And if the team has had success like the 9ers have it's even worse.

I've always thought 9er fans were dicks from the way Steve was treated and down the list.

Not nearly as hilarious as your inability to deal with people with a difference of opinion.
The more I think about it, the more I agree with elephant. In the past 4 drafts, the best player selected was Aaron lynch. He's a great find in the 5th round but he's not a franchise type player.

Thank you man. Again I LOVE our 49ers. I want BEST for our 49ers!! Of course no one can win the SB every year but I at least wanna be competitive. We are nowhere near competitive and the man responsible for that is Baalke with his below mediocre drafting. The cupboard is Bare unless of course we ask a Homer.

Trent has this year to prove something or he's gone. If he f**ks up again the new guy gets to draft early next year lol
Man...buncha pots and kettles all up in here eh?

This one has been rebutted a sufficient number of times. Anything new to say?

Or Chip Kelly.

I think Justin Smith wanting to come back but not wanting to play here is just reflective of being 37 and not wanting to be on the defensive side of a team that is probably going to have a low time of possession.

What are you predicting for this season NC? You're starting to sound giddy.

I'm predicting no better than 8-8 in Kelly's first year. Rebuilding takes several years for a number of reasons 1) Coaching/scheme stability 2) Development of young players over time and 3) Finding key cornerstone (impact) players via the draft and FA. Remember, it took 9 years to build up our last 3-year run and 3 GM's. This is Baalke's team now and he only has 2 holdover players as opposed to 9 last time. Essentially, he's John Schneider in 2010...getting to start from scratch.

Therefore, I've maintained all along that we're "starting" year 2 of the rebuild right now. Kelly has a nice foundation to build off of already from year 1 and Baalke needs to continue to add talent and upgrades in the draft and FA.

It's possible we can be competitive this year but it's unlikely until year 3 or 4. By then, the youngest team in the NFL will have or should have developed nicely together under the same offensive and defensive systems and had proper development and time on the NFL field growing. Unity should be better. Role-players will have been ID by then, cornerstones, QB, etc.

Very few teams in history have ever built up enough talent to reach a Superbowl, let alone had enough talent to reach 3 straight NFCCG's. That is massively undermined here. Let's see if Tom/Trent/Chip can do it again...this time from scratch.
