Entirely sure you are just stirring the pot as usual. Mods need to step up and crack down on you trolls...it'd be entirely different if you could back up your so called claims with logic, facts and supported it with some evidence but we all know you never ever do that.

It's my opinion that he would have stayed his contract.

It's a fact that you repeat the same crap over and over without ever supporting your so called claims. If someone calls you on it, you just quit posting in said thread for a few pages, proof is in your posting history.

We all know you cannot support your false narrative.

Actually every post I post is specifically tied to that thread. Justin himself pretty much said that it was great being a contender for 4 years, so that leads me to believe that he does not consider this team to be a contender. Which ties in to our front office on how a coaching staff and roster was dismantled that has led this team to not being a serious super bowl contender.
how does justin comparing himself to a bald tire , how does justin saying his left side of his body does not respond well anymore have anything to do with your screwball speculations? it would just kill you to take him at his word
Now its a re-build situation. Had Justin felt the 49ers had a realistic shot at a SB run , hewoulda came back. The defense and defensive line just got a tad worse. Still not bad but not as fierce.

all you have to do is read and i guess believe what he said about the left side of his body not responding, my god man, be a gloom and doomer, hate the front office, be cynical, be oliver stone jr,, but when you hear that stuff from a player like justin who does not b******t,,,,, he HAD to retire,, if you do not believe what he said, well you can not be reasoned with. all i had to do was read that story from his conference call and as much as i love country and would have loved it he would have come back,,,,, you can not mess with this s**t

You are probably right cc but being a rebuilding team with many of his teammates gone probably also plays into the decision. His play was still at a high level last year I think if that band was still together he probably would have given it one last ride. Just my opinion

jed should give this man a job with the team.

He and Aubrayo coaching would be terrific! I'm sure they asked him. Who wouldnt?
he may be my one exception to my rule that great players do not make great coaches. he needs to go home and rest, a job will always be there with us if he wants it.

his left side of his body does not respond. what more do you people need to hear., this has nothing to do with who the coach is, or is not, the man played with pain for the last few years. its time,, everyone hates to admit when father time catches up to you, not everything is a conspiracy. the team is retooling, now we have to see if the young guys who were drafted to some day take over for people like cowboy can do the job. again, he said the left side of his body does not respond, my god, what more do you need to know

We still possess a boatload of talent to produce a contender.

Justin also said :

"I wanted to keep playing as well," Smith said. "But when you get on the bald tires, you're on the bald tires."

That leads me to believe that you are doing what you always do, stir the pot. You took one little quote and ignored everything else he said...because everything else does not fit your narrative. Your game is transparent.

your problem is you do not allow some of us to have our own opinion. Justin is an ALL TIMER to me. I LOVE THE DUDE as a Player, but it is my belief he just feels its better to go out as is instead of start over again rebuilding. Again ITS MY OPINION, which I am entitled to.

3 starters on defense had to be replaced (RayMac, Willis and Cully). On offense we replaced 3 starters as well (Crabs, Gore and Iupati). How is that a rebuild ?
