your problem is you do not allow some of us to have our own opinion. Justin is an ALL TIMER to me. I LOVE THE DUDE as a Player, but it is my belief he just feels its better to go out as is instead of start over again rebuilding. Again ITS MY OPINION, which I am entitled to.

3 starters on defense had to be replaced (RayMac, Willis and Cully). On offense we replaced 3 starters as well (Crabs, Gore and Iupati). How is that a rebuild ?

Noew Coaching staff, Drafted a 3/4 DE in the 1st when "Tank" was already on board.

Right, cause Harbaugh proved he could get us over the hump and had not worn out his welcome with some. And taking a 3-4 end is not a bad thing, considering we knew Justin was near the end and we let RayMac go.

That's not evidence of a rebuild. We drafted a 3/4 DE because Baalke and Co likely knew that Justin Smith was breaking down and likely going to retire (if not this year then next). That's called drafting a future replacement to a very important position of need. This rebuild s**t is funny. We still have talent all over this roster.

Dont you see the turnover on the roster/staff? Gore is gone, Willis, Iupati,Crabs,Cully, Cox, Boreland Quit, Harbaugh dumped now Justin too. That is A LOT of talent out the door. Its a rebuild whether you like it or not. Sure, Kap is still there as is Quan and Staley and VD. Who knows nowdays, rebuilds sometimes last only 1 year matbe 2 if you hit on the draft Plus decent affordable FAs.

Again, I'm happy with the Armstead pick, I liked it and it fits a need.

3 starters on offense (Crabs, Gore, and Iupati)
5 starters on defense (RayMac, Justin Smith, Willis, Cully, Cox)

Cox may be debatable, but he played better early on in the season than Brock ever has. Drafting a punter in round 5 seems to be a look towards the future and the same could be said for Armstead because he's not likely to make a huge impact in year 1 (or maybe year 2 depending on how long Dockett hangs around). I liked the Armstead pick for what it's worth and I think looking towards the future (rebuilding) is the right move.

If you think drafting for the future equates to rebuilding then we've been in rebuild mode for like the past 5 years. If you haven't noticed pretty much every draft Baalke is picking for the future.

We have been rebuilding since 1946

we are retooling,, if you had different starters at each spot including qb then its a rebuild, if the season started today we are set at the skill positions and just have to figure out who fits where elsewhere,,,, sayings it a rebuild is hysterical in my opinion. i also think we got better without crabs being around to b***h and under achieve and lupati not around to whiff on pass blocking and hurting hall of fame players.. in regards to justin, the minute he said the left side of his body does not respond,, people who are in the grassy knoll area of dallas need to just shut up and take the man at face value,,,, in my opinion.. oh and haley did basically come out and call justin a liar,,,,,, in my opinion
Thank you so much for everything you have done, Justin Smith! It has been a great ride here!

the team is lucky they had the same core group of people they had around here for as long as they did, free agency, our under the radar guys we signed over achieved and deserved a big paycheck elsewhere, age and injury happens and they caught up with willis and cowboy,, boreland was a freak thing no one can plan for or predict, gore was given a fair offer by us, a 32 year old running back whose tires may turn bald over night is not worth a multi year deal,, in regards to the coach,, he was evident to some of us, his coaching style had hit the wall in the nfl and he was better off running back to college, plus he lost the locker room and vets as the year went. s**t happens, if you want to keep thinking otherwise knock yourself out
If we had a chance at the postseason this year, Justin would have stayed. He knew that the big overhaul this offseason pretty much killed our chances at being competitive.

I agree with this POST. I am hopeful but realistic.

you do not know anything about what justin knows. until he comes out and says otherwise i will take him at face value when he says the left side of his body does not respond anymore. he revealed facts today his injury at the hands of lupati. that is not hearsay, those are facts. everyone has an opinion but you need to know, in my opinion, your theory is baseless, pointless, , factless, useless and hopeless. we have some good vets back, some kids who were never given a chance by other people, hopefully a good draft class. killing our chances at being competitive is hyperbole in my opinion

the word realistic is all in the eyes of the beholder, i think it is realistic to think we have a a fresh start with fresh ideas and new energy around here, not to mention guys who had a off year last year playing with a chip on their shoulder and the whole damn team wanting to prove the negative nancys like you wrong . we will know in 6 months or so who was more "realistic"... just like those who say it is "obvious" we are going to be 4-12.sad
