Uh Eisen made his predictions for the 49ers, 11-6, ok, but losses to CHI, CIN, and swept by the Rams? Huh? I see it more like 14-3 if those other games he has winning, CHI isn't that good, good defense, kinda(Mack & Smith), but horrible OL, plus Fields is probably QB, CIN isn't ready to compete, and no way they beat us, as for swept by Rams, I'd be surprised if we didn't win 1 or both games.

11-6 is way more likely than 14-3. I'm not necessarily agreeing with which games are won or lost. IMO the games that everyone seems to think we will win sometimes end up as a loss. It's very hard to only lose 3 games. I'd say 11-6 should be the floor and 14-3 should be the ceiling for this year.

I agree......every year you beat someone really unexpected and lose to someone really unexpected. Unless you're a top 3 team, then you just lose to someone unexpected.

2019 Falcons beat the 49ers. 2020 49ers had wins against Rams x2, Patriots, Giants, but 0-3 versus rest of the NFC East (granted maybe you could blame on injuries).

Still, it's like this every single year for every single team more or less.

Any prediction without the "WTF" fluke in it, can never be 100%.

A lot depends on the health of the team you face as well as your own team's health when you play. Let's say that when we face the Bengals we have injuries to our DBs. Maybe their QB has a field day and Jimmy is just average that day. Then we face Seattle in Seattle and Wilson actually is forced to sit. The Niners run all over them. Stuff like this occurs every week in the NFL. When and where you play a team has a lot to do with the outcome.

Exactly. That's why they're a 14-3 team on paper. When factoring in scenarios like the ones you mentioned during the season 11-6 becomes more likely.

Tip for youtube. Run your searches as "49ers -grant" and it will filter out the content from the channel of that idiot. Doesn't work 100% but your search results won't be as polluted.

The issue with Cohn fandom started a long time ago with the Press Democrat. Maiocco started the 49er blog when he worked there and it took off. The blog developed a loyal fan base that stuck with a couple of the reporters after Maiocco left.

Grant's daddy Lowell, who is also a complete clown, got him the job at Press Dem. The blind followers began to take baby Cohn's word as gospel. I guess they assumed he was as credible as Maiocco and the couple writers before him. Unfortunately Grant was able to piggy back off of the credible beat writers and therefore had a following. Unfortunately, he's still trolling around nowadays with SI. It is a complete downward spiral for a once credible sports outlet. Hopefully someone catches on at some point and the kid can go write for the Raiders.

Grant was the person who was dead set against Fields prior to the draft and just the other day had a segment calling out Kyle for not even considering Fields lol. And he does this alot. He will turn against any decision the Niners make. Going into the offseason he said the Niners were probally not going to contend next season because they were going to lose alot of their free agents. Niners bring back most of them and then he says they shouldn't have re-signed them because they were too old.

I know he mostly does this for clicks but it gets to a point where he loses all credibility and nothing he says you can take serious. He has no integrity at all. Also the way he insults players is so unprofessional. I know we fans do it at times but he's a reporter and should be more professional if he wants any respect.
