I'm fine with the Saints being ahead of us as I can buy that argument but what I can't buy is if you click on "Experts" picks and look at La Canfora's he has the Bucs 5 and 9ers 7. No words can describe either the stupidity or just his pure disdain of the 9ers.
I jumped into this thread for just this reason...
Really Jason? You are already considered a massive idiot and then you randomly rank two 4-2 teams ahead of two 5-1 teams, one of which has the strongest strength of schedule and also destroyed one of those 4-2 teams by a 45 point margin?
How does one man speak so much dumb?

Is there a power rankings based on strength of schedule? 49ers opponents through week 6 are a combined 19-15. If you exclude our games from that record, they are a collective 18-10 in other words a 64.5% winning percentage

Throw one together real quick. I'd do it myself if I had my laptop with me

That's one guy's rankings. The Power Poll (a panel of NFL network and .com analysts) have us at 4. Which is kinda weird, because yesterday I saw us put at 3.

meh
saints are still a good team only 1 game behind us they are more proven so i dont mind having them in front of us
only 2 NFC teams can be in front of us at this points one is GB other is saints
and whle nfl only patriots and ravens should be added to that list
on every power ranking we should be at least top 5

The teams the niners have already played average a power ranking (NFL.com) of 14.67.
The remainder of the schedule averages 20.7.
They have some tough games ahead but there is no reason to think they won't do well. 14-2 would be statistically likely (more like 13.5-2.5)
I know this is silly but it is fun! (if you like to play with numbers--
