2011 so far similar to the 1997 season

It was Mooch's 1st season. lost opening game at Tampa, but then won like 11 in a row. Finished 13-3. defense was great that year too. Of course Steve was our QB then.

We were able to run the ball really good with Hearst also. So some things in common.
The big difference is that the loss to the Cowboys is going to lead to a 17 game winning streak, not some measly 11 games.

Ahh, very Ironic & interesting Hopefully 2011 ends the way 1981 did.
I thought the 1997 team could go all the way too. Imagine if Rice was healthy.

In 81 we overcame dallas, who 49ers number and here in 2011 we will need to overcome packers, who also have had our number too, big time.
