Good on Jed I'm sure a lot of other owners are not happy with him but I'm glad he has the courage to talk about change and not riot over it.

This x a mil!! He's lied so many times and I strongly don't believe this at all. If that was the case he would've called out Jed a long time ago.

He's the first owner who expressed his support for this cause vocally and publicly and for that he has my thumbs up.
Best owner in the league.
He's not the owner. He's the president and CEO. His parents are the owners so he still has to answer to them. I think he's doing a decent job. He doesn't meddle with the draft and let's Kyle and Lynch do their thing. He had a lot to learn when he first took over but he's progressed nicely.

I'm starting to wonder if Reid is suffering from CTE. He did suffer a lot of concussions early in his career and his memory seems shaky these days.

He literally owns equity in the franchise.

I had several exchanges on Twitter this morning about this.
I'm not going to flat out say Reid is lying about this, even though he's been caught lying on several occasions related to the NFL treatment or the 49ers but I took an issue with people acting like Jed York had an issue with their message.
He never stopped them from kneeling. Even if Reid is truthful and York "pleaded for him to stop" he never mandated they must. He never shut them down during their interviews from spreading the message.
If anything the kneeling during the anthem took away from their message. There is still a large population in the US who doesn't know why they were kneeling. They concentrate on the kneeling during the anthem and forget the police brutality/social injustice part of the message.
To me it's not York not liking what they were trying to say, he supported them in the media. Only owner to abstain from the anthem rule by the NFL.
Reid spitting on York's message and donation screamed sour grapes. York can't end racism. He can't end police brutality. Maybe him giving a million to charities brings some good PR but it's better than nothing.

York has learned that the less of him the better, this does not make him the best "owner" in the league. Please

Yall can not agree with his decision making in terms staffing/coaching but any mistakes hes made hes learned from.
I wont pretend to know what other owners around the league are doing but atleast the head of the Niners isnt forcing the cheerleaders to be escorts against their will in foreign cities.

Nobody better.
Got a stadium done that prints cash so fans never have to worry about signing bonuses. Hires right. Stays out of the way. Supports player causes. All of which has allowed him to literally own the best roster in football.

Wish he designated the money to rebuild businesses that were destroyed. Better use of the funds.

There's not another owner in the NFL I'd take for the Niners over what they have.
