The Rooney family and Robert Kraft come to mind....
But Jed is better than his pops, that's for sure. But a monkey on crack is better than John York, literally.

I own shares in many companies but not near enough to be called the owner. I know Jed is referred to as the owner but it's his parents that have the final word on something really big like building the stadium. They don't meddle in football affairs but there is a difference between Jed and Jerry Jones or Daniel Snyder who have absolute power. Jed is called the owner by many since thew real owners are invisible and no there's doubt he will inherit the team.

True. Sentiment gets influenced by the performance of the team.

He answers to nobody. They've deferred to him for years. He is never overruled. He can't be.

Kraft? Lol
How many times would that dude be caught paying for sex acts from Asian prostitutes in the bay? He wouldn't make it a week.

He cannot. Ship has sailed. They signed it away.

When did that ship sail?

This
LMAO
York has learned that the less of him the better, this does not make him the best "owner" in the league. Please
Nobody better.
Got a stadium done that prints cash so fans never have to worry about signing bonuses. Hires right. Stays out of the way. Supports player causes. All of which has allowed him to literally own the best roster in football.
Hmmm
Don't agree with you at all. He hired right with Kyle but dudes made a lot of mistakes. He's maybe learning on the job and good for him & he's done a lot better lately, but there are other "owners" that make and have made better decisions then him.
Let's hope he keeps learning and keeps working with Kyle to keep Kyle around. Would hate to do a coaching search in a year or two because he brooms Kyle.

Dude, it's a small Corp.. unless your directly involved with them and there "board" you have no idea what's going on behind the scenes.

Unless something has changed from 2017 to now, he sure can be overruled by his folks. I have no doubt they have stepped back and are letting him run the show, and he's doing a good job. but I'm also pretty confident they can overrule him at any time. There's a reason Denise interjected herself prominently in the 2017 coaching search
