There's a reason Denise interjected herself prominently in the 2017 coaching search

Agree. I think if Jed screws up again, Denise will step in like she did in 2017. Having said that, I think Jed's learned a ton of lessons from the HarBaalke regime and has put those lessons to good use in the ShanaLynch era. One of the lessons I think he's learned is how important the HC is vs the GM, and how the GM *must* support the HC and not the other way around. The second lessons is, I think, more subtle but common sense -- *stay out of football decisionmaking!* I think as long as he does that, the future of this franchise is very bright. Jed's record, in a sense, is two super bowl losses vs his Uncle's record of (I think) two super bowl wins in that same time span. So he's still a step below his Hall of Fame Uncle as of right now.
Going with the "Denise stepped in" myth again, I see.

I have no idea of the inner workings of the family dynamics. I doubt that Denise and John have much input on the team since even Jed leaves most of that stuff to Paraag, John Lynch and Kyle. Jed is the guy that deals with the city and the owners. If there is a lot of money involved like building a stadium then the Yorks would be involved since they have the money.

You're the one with the theory. The burden of proof is on you. And don't give me Gary Plummer's singular third hand statement that contradicts every other source, including the people that were hired. The preponderance of evidence is against your position.

So until actual first hand accounts or statements come to light stating that Denise was the secret Godmother it's just a convenient "grass is greener on the silent owner's lawn" myth.

Denise reaching out to Tom Cable is your evidence?

I don't doubt Denise and John were also working to put the Niners in a good position that offseason. I simply see nothing that indicates Denise was making all the final decisions, nor do I see anything indicating she's the one that pursued Shanahan (with that specific pursuit resulting in Lynch as well).

And yet it's still infinitely more than what you have provided..,which is zilch
The conversation has run its course. You will shoot down anything that anyone provides, whether it comes from Silver, Plummer, Bidetman etc, and disregard it as myth, yet provide nothing of your own on the matter to lend credence to that claim. . Have a good day

How Lynch and Shanahan were hired is well documented.

This

LMAO

York has learned that the less of him the better, this does not make him the best "owner" in the league. Please

Nobody better.

Got a stadium done that prints cash so fans never have to worry about signing bonuses. Hires right. Stays out of the way. Supports player causes. All of which has allowed him to literally own the best roster in football.

So by 'prints cash' you mean he grossly overcharges me and other fans for our season tickets right? In many cases its cheaper to fly to out of state games and get better seats than the costs for single game + the seat licensing fees at Levis.
