I prefer an owner like him to one that's always interfering with coaching decisions or trying to be the face of the team like Jerry Jones.

Jed just hires bad people. Singletary, tomsula, chip, shanny, Lynch.

Only good hire he made was harbs and couldn't keep that going.

Stats don't lie.

Harbs! What a short memory you have. Or maybe just very selective.

uhm, what is so funny. has anyone jed hired since achieved the things jh did with our team and for more than one year? your cute laughing is some nice denial and deflection

Did we not just play in the Super Bowl less than 2 seasons ago?

4 losing seasons, and 1 losing super bowl season.

That's success to you?

and when we go bad. we struggle all the way around and not just in one area... this team has not slowly went off a cliff, it has leaped off the cliff
Did Jed ever tear down that illegal Cabana he had built ?

Harbaugh was a flash in the pan. Was never going to work out past year three, Jed or no Jed. He ain't done s**t since.

Yup. Once our core got old/injured we went 8-8 in his last year and projecting into the future he wouldn't have had much more success than Tomsula the following year. Jim's success was so heavily dependent on his roster, particularly on the defensive side. His offense was slow as mollasses, prodding and clumsy with receivers running route trees straight out of a 1970s Bo Schembechler offense. Once the league caught up to Kaepernick, defenses started feasting on us especially the LoB in Seattle. Also people get on Kyle for his questionable in game decisions, but have we forgotten the multiple delay of game penalties due to Harbs/Greg Roman's weird playcalling protocol or his awful challenges or his tendency to waste timeouts?

Kyle is rightfully getting criticized but I'm sorry, Jim was highly overrated by this fanbase. Kyle might not be the answer but Jim sure as hell isn't/wasn't.

One thing I will give the edge to Jim for though is his Special Teams units were awesome. That's always been the weakest side of the Shanahan teams.

He has been the only successful coach in the York era.

And for those who love to defend the W-L record of Jiimmy G how many losing seasons did Harbaugh have for us?

Flash in the pan who went to 3 strait NFC championships? His 4th year was both sabotaged by the FO and ownership and had damn near 1/3 of his starters on IR and he still won 7 games.

Flash in the pan in the truest sense is Kyle shanahan who's only shown one winning season in his entire head coaching career. He's been here 5 years and has given us one good season.
Yo Jed !!!

PJ Fleck will welcome the return to the 49ers..

he didn't make the team because we were loaded at the WR position when he was here... and he still kept TO's 32 inch Sony Trinitron that was delivered in this dorm during Training Camp when TO found out that a rookie FA (Fleck) had no TV...

This time it would be an honor for him to bring back CAMELOT to San Francisco !!!!

Please Jed, call him ASAP before you lose him to the Vikings !!!!
Jed will be completely bald by the time we make another SB run.
I think we otta give Steve Young a chance to be our GM and find out how much he knows about football... this is no sarcasm, but for years he's talk a good sense and entertaining plan... so entertaining that he pissed Matt Millen live at one point..

Why not give him the job.. I heard he would work w/Brent Jones side by side...

Going to have to disagree here. As to your last sentence, what has KS done since going to the Superbowl?

Harbaugh was a good coach with garbage ownership.
Why do people hate on York?? Guy pretty much ate 20 Mill with Kelly and Tomsula

He has largely redeemed himself but over the last 20 years or so the organization has been a circus for more than half of it so I don't think I would put the Yorks in a top position over other owners.

They're not Dan Snyder bad, and I do believe the goal has always been to win SB's which doesn't always feel like the case with other teams, but still a lot of questionable things have happened. Especially when you compare to Eddie being considered the Gold Standard (rightly or wrongly).

On a side note I still can't believe they ran Harbaugh out so they could hire Tomsula.
