Thanks for sharing this video. That right there proves that Jed York is incapable of running this franchise.

He gave the facts when Cohn senior asked if he would fire himself. I thought the question from Kawakami was good too, asking if parting from Harbaugh was a mistake.

Ever since dropping Harbaugh this team has been a loser save the one season in 2019. Baalke and the media made Harbaugh to be a monster, but his fault was obsessed with one thing, and that's winning. Think of how much better our last 9-10 years would be if we didn't choose Baalke and didn't want Harbaugh s 'ego'

As much as they're despised around here, the Cohns are the only members of the local media with the balls to ask tough questions. I remember watching this live and being so damn glad that Lowell asked that question because that's what all 49ers fans wanted to tell Jed.

Let's be honest here. The "success" years are a result of being so bad for so long. They stockpile top 3, 5, 10 picks. There is nowhere you can go but up. So I guess there is some method to their madness. But they spend 90% of their time at the bottom. They are who they are.

The Yorks aren't the ones missing on the draft or punishing a player over GP f**ken S.

But the Yorks are the ones that hired these guys and the ones before them. They are completely responsible for the past twenty years of failure.

Can't blame an owner for hiring one of the most desirable candidates.

Now, if they hired him and put him the doghouse, then they can be blamed.

you know, like Kyle does with his draft picks.

Can't blame him at all. First, he did take the team to a SB within his first 3 years. Second, if Kyle were fired today, he'd have a shiny new job as HC somewhere else tomorrow. Jed would only deserve blame if he fired Kyle now, especially before seeing what happens with Trey.

They hired the guy most of the forum wanted, gave him whatever he needed and got out of his way, like what people had been wanting them to do for years.

Now people are apparently upset that they aren't involved enough in micromanaging the franchise. This place is bipolar as hell.

Harbaugh inherited a good roster, why can't he win in college without luck?

The year Harbaugh took over we were predicted at 6 wins tops and he went to what 3 NFC championships? He's 8-1 now and made Michigan relevant again when they were horrible for a long time.
Quite hiring your buddies and get people who are competent and not yes men.

Get rid of paraag, get rid of shanahan, lynch is in over his head.

Paraags crap gambling has cost us with so many frail picks and supposed great signings that turn out to be fools gold.

The "cap wizard" just saves you money so you think he's good at his job. There's no Superbowl wins to show for it though.

It's crazy how fans forget where we were and then how we were in the super bowl two f*cking years ago.

I don't think anybody has forgotten. If anything that's what has everyone so triggered as we now look on today's product. My how the mighty have fallen.

That's nice the team went to the SB two years ago, but you forget:

1. we loss that game
2. we haven't had a winning record since then.

I was willing to overlook last season with all the injuries but enough with the excuses. The defense is dogs**t now. The depth is poo on that side of the ball. Fred Warner is playing awful. Nobody can tackle anymore. Our defensive backs are Norman, Mosely, Johnson, Kirkpatrick and Williams. What's worse is our two rookies can't even sniff the field over some of that hot garbage. The same guys are hurt as usual. We consistently are losing the turnover battle.

Coaching matters. Saleh still had the defense playing hard when it was ravaged by injuries. There is alot of work to be done on this roster. That's a tough thing to say 5 years into this regime.

3. The years prior to the Super Bowl were absolute crap.
6 winning seasons in the last 21 years with two Super Bowl Losses and a s**t new stadium.

well done by the Yorks!! Gotta love too how the Dr and his wife threw their son into the mix too.

i miss my Niners team from the lates 70's through the early 90's. Sadly I don't know if we will ever get back to that dynasty. Such a s**tshow nowadays
The York family fired 2 winning HC (Harbaugh and Mariucci), and the result is 1 winning season out of 14 seasons (2003 to 2010, 2015-2020).

I'm pretty sure Harbaugh already had one foot out the door before being fired
